The Diet Plan
Yeah, I said the Diet Plan. Today I began the hardest thing I think a person can do and that is to commit to a plan to loose weight. I’m again going to shift the way this blog was intended to be and move it to the Weight loss area for a few months or until I reach my Goal.
So to outline a few things I will be doing. I have weighted myself. I have set up a plan on how to follow what I eat (By Calorie) and a way to keep up with my Exercise amounts and how many Calories I may burn during that. I am using a iPhone/iPod App that will assist me in this process. That app is called Lose IT! It’s in the App store and at the Time I bought it, it was free so check it out.
So Lets break down what my day is like.
I currently weight 315 lbs and want to be down to 275lbs by July 1, 2010 (Maybe even lower than that.) It’s a total of 40 lbs. I have Budgeted 2,460 Calories a day.
So Today I started out with a Good Breakfast.
- Toast (2 slices) White 100 Calories
- Apple Juice (8oz) 120 Calories
- Turkey Bacon (5 Slices) 125 Calories (25 per slice)
- Hot Chocolate (20 oz) 200 Calories (Convenience store bought but it was like 20 degrees outside).
- So Breakfast was a total of 545 Calories.
Now for Lunch (12:30pm)
- Campbell’s Creamy Tomato Soup (To Go Cup) 190 Calories
- Yeah That’s all I had for Lunch
Snack (Around 3pm)
- Cheese Nabs (1 Packet) 190 Calories
Dinner
- Stouffers Cheddar Potato Bake (2 Servings) 540 Calories
- Stouffers Fried Chicken boneless breast (1 Serving) 360 Calories
- Total Dinner Calorie intake 900 Calories
So I had 545 for Breakfast, 190 Lunch, 190 snack and 900 Dinner lets see that equals to 1825 Calories for the day.
I also walked for about 15 minutes during the day at a steady pace and according to the iPod App That burned 56 Calories, So My total calorie count up to this post is 1,769,
Now I plan to start walking more during the day and when it starts to get warm maybe even start biking while at lunch at work. We shall see when that warm weather returns. I also want to add a few more exercises but I will do it slowly to allow my body to get used to the change.
As with any diet talk to a Doctor before you start. Know your limits and know when you are starving yourself and eat. This is my on little program and if you want to follow along then by all means do.
